Diane Malay, 64, passed away on December 8, 2018 after a long, hard fought and courageous battle with cancer.

Diane was born in Syracuse, NY on July 13, 1954. She was the most hard working, strong willed, stubborn, spitfire of a woman who was the most loving and caring person to everyone she knew.

Diane was an amazing woman that put her family ahead of everything, her priority was to provide the best possible life for her family that she could. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family and friends especially around the holidays because that brought everyone together, nothing was more important to her than her family. Her deviled eggs were second to none!

Diane was predeceased by her mother, Francis and her sister, Judy.

Diane is survived by her Husband Jeff; her sons Sean (Tara) and Matthew (Leesa); and her daughter Kimberly; as well as seven grandchildren, Chelsey, Kody, Taylor, Seth, Alexa, Kennedy and Bianca; and four great-grandchildren; her father Emmett; and her sisters and brothers, Sandy (Paul), David (Lea), Danny (Beth) Cathy(Ron), Karen; and many nieces and nephews.

We would like to offer our warmest gratitude to everyone that cared for her especially to Hospice of CNY, the volunteers and nurses at Francis House and her little sister Cathy for the love and care that they provided to our mother in her time of need.

Calling hours will take place Saturday, December 15th, from 12-2pm with a memorial service to follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY, 13212.
