Carlton Burian, 68, of Brewerton, passed away December 9, 2018.

Carlton was born in Syracuse, New York on July 30, 1950 to the late Carlton and Esther Burian.

A five letter athlete while attending Tully High School, he enjoyed playing recreational softball and was a die hard SU and Dolphins fan. In retirement, he enjoyed golfing with family and friends and celebrating his hole in one at Northern Pines where he was a member for many years.

He was his grandchildren's biggest fan at all of their sporting events. He was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Vossler.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Burian; three sons, Carlton R (Margaret) Burian III and their children Carmela, Edward, and Charlotte, son Christopher J. (Jamie) Burian and their children, Ashton, and Mason, son Jared (Kate) Dinsmore and their children, Skylar and Ethan; daughter, Traci Scanlin and her children Eric and Alex Sydney; sister, Kathleen (Michael) Olszewski; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his rescue dog, Beau.

Family and friends may call on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, where a sharing of memories will take place at 6:00 pm.
