Eunice (Van Hall) Sweezey, 100, passed away on December 31, 2018 at The Cottages at Garden Grove in Cicero, NY.
Eunice was born and raised in Marion, NY.
She is predeceased by her parents, Peter C and Fanny Van Hall; three sisters; two brothers, and her husband of 62 years, Fred R. Sweezey. Eunice was a RN, graduated from Genesee Hospital School of Nursing, Rochester, NY in 1938.
She enjoyed reading, playing cards, sewing, knitting, and also liked golfing and fishing. Much of Eunice and Fred's retirement time was spent enjoying and living in Sebastian, Florida.
Eunice is survived by her three children, Joan (Bill) Deyle of Central Square, NY, Donna Etu of Highland, NY, and Thomas (Jean) Sweezey of Putnam Valley, NY; grandchildren, Greg, Susan, Robin, and Cheryl; great- grandchildren, Rylan, Fiona, Presley, Freyja, Sassa, and her beloved cat Sally.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
