Wesley “Wes” Roberts, 91, of Cicero, met his personal Lord and Savior face to face on January 10, 2019.
Wesley was born in Auburn, New York on August 10, 1927 to the late William and Mildred Roberts. He was a master carpenter and worked for J.D. Taylor Construction and was a member of Carpenters Local 747. Wes was an accomplished fisherman in Henderson Harbor, as well as a fisher of men. His humor and wit made Wes a joy to be near. He loved everyone he met, and made them feel special.
He is survived by his Wife of 66 years, Gloria (Schmitz) Roberts; Daughter, Jodi (Alec) Neider; Son, Steven (Judy) Roberts; Brother; Dr. Kenneth M. Roberts (Seattle); Grandchildren; Samuel (Katherine) Roberts, Jordan (Emily) Neider, Addyson Neider and Nathaniel Roberts; Great-Grandchildren; Damien and Julian and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his Sister, Barbara M. Partin.
The family invites you to join them for a brief and inspirational celebration of life, followed by a light lunch and an opportunity to greet family and friends, on January 27, 2019 at 1:30 PM at The Gathering Place (North Syracuse Baptist Church), 420 South Main Street, North Syracuse.
