1952 - 2019

Maureen A. Mapother, 66, of Clay passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2019. She was born in Rochester, New York on March 23, 1952. She was a loving wife, sister, mother and friend.

She retired from Nationwide Insurance where she was an Associate Agent for many years. In her free time she enjoyed reading, bird watching and spending time with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a generous heart and will be missed by many.

She was predeceased by her parents, Francis Farrell and Shirley and George Bailey.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Michael Mapother, Sr, her children, Melissa Riter (James), Shelly Schwenn (John), and Michael Mapother, Jr. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Trinity, Gaberiel Mapother, Bailey Giddings, Emma Mapother, Grayson Giddings, Mason and Harper, her siblings Kathleen Farrell, Colleen Hynes, MaryAnn Uhrenholdt and Ed Farrell.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services at the request of the family. Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
