Paul B. Prouty, of Liverpool, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the age of 98.

Paul was born in Syracuse, New York, on May 15, 1920, to Bessie and Clarence Prouty.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1942-1945 during WWII and was awarded the purple heart.

He married Dorothy (Wilson) Prouty in 1946, and they were married for 57 years.

Paul is survived by his three children, Steve Prouty (Vicki), Tom Prouty (Sue) and Marcia Baldwin (Tim). Paul has three grandsons, Steve, Chris and Joe Prouty, as well as four great grandchildren.

He enjoyed going for walks, and he adored his cat Tabby. Paul will be remembered as a sweet, kind and funny, father and father in-law who will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be on March 2, 2019 from 1-3 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A private burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clear Path for Veterans.
