Bernard “Bernie” Turtura, 69, of Pulaski, passed away on Tuesday, at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Syracuse on April 9, 1949, son of James Turtura and Mildred Klering.
Bernard worked at Oswego City Hospital.
Bernie enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors. He always enjoyed being with his family, and he will be truly missed.
Bernard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna A. Turtura, children; Lori (Timothy) Rice, Timothy (Rose) Turtura, Garrett (Jamie) Turtura, grandchildren; Rebecca, Zachary, Kathy, David, Carter, Miles, Brody, great grandchildren; Faelynn, Amelia, brother, James (Paula) Turtura, sister, Denise (John) Scheuer, mother, Mildred (Jack) Klering, along with his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 22 at 1pm at the Dugway United Methodist Church, 1722 St. Rte. 104, Parish, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
