Alexander R. Slishevsky, 73, passed away peacefully at Crouse Hospital.
Born on October 25th, 1945 in Germany to the late Peter and Olga Slishevsky. Alex worked at the Nottingham (Loretto) Nursing Home for over 20 years, retiring in 2015. In his early years, he enjoyed working on cars, tinkering with and fixing things, bowling, fishing, watching NCIS and playing TAKE 5.
He is survived by his son, Jason (Paula Drinkwine) Slishevsky; grandchildren, Cameron and Gavin Slishevsky; siblings, Valentina Curry and Peter Polikarpenko; nieces and nephews, Tamara Curry, Amber (Demetrius) Adams, Christian (C.J.) Curry and former wife and best friend, Manny Slishevsky.
