Terry L. Peters-born December 25, 1943 to Bernard L. Peters and Evelyn (Jordan) Peters died on April 5, 2019.
He is survived by wife, Donna (Wade) Peters, son, Scott, daughter, Laura (Bob) Murphy as well as six grandchildren, Briana, Samantha, and Kristie Peters, Megan (Christopher), Patrick and James (Heather) Murphy and one great-granddaughter, Lydia Murphy. He is also survived by one brother, Ron Peters and six sisters, Linda (Jim) Bodle, Kathy (Russ) Harris, Mona Carney, Sue (Mike) Kulak, Patti (Phil) Barger, Tammy Chase. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Crystal Peters, Kathy (David) Michaels and two brothers-in-law, Robert Moore, Richard (Liz) Wade and numerous nieces and nephews.
Terry was predeceased by his parents, one brother, Larry Peters and one sister, Penny Moore.
Terry retired from the United States Post Office after 25 years. He also served 6 years in the United States Navy.
Terry was an amazing artist, and loved golfing, fishing, and wood carving. He also really enjoyed "wintering" in Florida and absolutely loved any time he spent on the water or with his grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 1-4pm in Phoenix, NY (address provided upon request). A second Celebration of Life will be held at the Country Roadhouse in Ransomville, NY on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 1pm. Donations to Hospice CNY are welcome.
