Jerry was born on October 15, 1945, the son of the late Charles and Bonnie Dolson.
Jerry graduated from North Syracuse High School, and married his High School sweetheart, Penny, in 1968.
He was a machine repairman at Syracuse China for many years.
Jerry loved NASCAR, and was a Jeff Gordon fan. He will be best remembered
as a hard working man, who always put his family first.
He is predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Penny; brothers, David (Anne) Dolson, Steve Dolson and great grandson, Aaron Jerry Shostack.
Jerry is survived by his son, Dan Dolson; daughter, Pam Dolson; grandchildren, Marissa Dowd (Shawn Hennessy), Beth Dolson, Kaelyn Dowd; great grandchildren, Audrina Lydon-Dowd, Shawn Hennessy Jr.; brother, Mike (Jackie) Dolson, sister-in-law, Sue Dolson, along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 28, from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Monday, at 9am, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery.
