David was born in Syracuse, New York on June 15, 1950 to David and Leoda Arnold. He was preceded in death by his father, David H. Arnold; and a niece, Kelley Ryan.
He is survived by his mother Leoda; sister, Jane Ryan; nieces, Amy (Bill Philips) VanSteenburgh; Cheryl Fry; nephew, Shawn (Adira) Ryan; and several great nieces and nephews.
