He served with the Marine Corps during WWII. He was a NYS Trooper for 23 years and worked for Niagara Mohawk for 11 years.
William is survived by his children, Kevin (Kimberly), Kim, Karen Stannard and Kris (Karen); 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a brother, Robert of Alabama.
He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy in 2005.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse on Wednesday, June 5th from 4-8 pm.
There will be a private interment at a later date.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at The Cottages for the loving care that they provided for our Dad.
