1929 - 2019

(Ganiyontha) Doris Ruth Bellinger, 89, of Brewerton, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 2.

Doris was born on October 21, 1929 on the Onondaga Nation, the daughter of the late Albert and Melinda Webster.
She was a member of the Beaver Clan.

Doris was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed playing softball in her early years. She was also a member of the Brewerton United Methodist Church and the Women’s Circle Group.

She was predeceased by her husband Lester, her son William, her grandson Zachary, along with her 6 siblings; Gertrude, Richard, Charles, Hattie, Angeline & her twin, Dorthea.

Doris is survived by her children, Allen (Maureen) Bellinger, Kevin (Nancy) Bellinger, Kathy (John) Moran, Judith Bellinger, daughter-in-law Cindy Bellinger, grandchildren, Kerrie, Kristina (Steve), Kendra (Duane), Patrick, Erin (Matthew), Kyle (Paige), Joshua (Julia), Emily, Jonathan (Ashley), Matthew, Justin (Sam), Kaleb, and Olivia; 9 great grandchildren, Savanah, Jacob, Jaiden, Ty, Dominic, Kennedy, Judah, Hadessah & Leon, 4 foster great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 5th from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 6th at 10 am at Brewerton United Methodist Church. Burial will take place at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.

Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
