Mary Kathleen (Lawrence) Luke, a lifelong Syracuse resident, passed away Sunday peacefully and expectedly at home.
Kathy attended The Convent School, Mercyhurst University and Lemoyne College. She was a lifetime friend, mother, grandmother and Fig who will be missed but never forgotten. She is survived by her children Rob (Kelly) Luke and Patty Perless; grandchildren Ben, Nick, Chris and Sara and adopted children Erin and Mark.
Kathy is participating in the Upstate Medical University’s Anatomical Gift Program and keeping with her wishes there will be no services. A celebration of her life will be held later this month. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Staff of Hospice of CNY. Without their support Kathy’s final wishes would not have been possible. If you wish to honor her, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
