Kathy was born in Potsdam, NY to parents Maurice & Belva Newton, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her brother Boomer and sister & best friend Bev.
Kathy was part of a large, loud & loving extended family and leaves behind many siblings, nieces and nephews.
A beloved wife, mama & nana, she leaves behind her heartbroken husband, John, of 41 years, and their children, Jessica and Richard (Silvana), and her adored grandchildren Nicolas and Daniela.
Everyone who knew and loved Kathy have stories that include uncontrollable laughter, love, and if you were lucky, a dash of alcohol.
Family will gather at Newcomer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY for calling hours on July 20 from 12-2pm, with a memorial service at 2pm to celebrate the blessed life of a beautiful soul who was loved beyond measure.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of CNY.
