Bonnie-Jean McCarthy, 64, formerly of Central Square, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 9, at Morning Star Nursing Home.

She was born on December 22, 1954 in Syracuse, daughter of the late Clarence and Shirley Owens.

Bonnie enjoyed the holidays, spending time with family and crafting.

She is survived by her daughter Shawnna (Channie) Joyner; 3 grand daughters, Ashleigh, Emily & Paisley; 3 siblings, LeRoy (Patricia) Owens, Robert (Deborah) Owens, Patrick (Lynn) Owens, and Ken (Robin) Blumer; sister-in-law, Tracey Owens, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Enda; brothers, Richard & Raymond.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, from 10-11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, with a service at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski.
