Frances D Ippolito
1936 - 2019

Frances D. Ippolito, 83, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family July 20, 2019.

Fran was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on May 26, 1936 to the late William and Caroline Doherty. Fran retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital in 2001 after 31 years as an LPN and continued part time with the Cardiovascular Group at North Medical Center until 2007.

Fran loved the outdoors whether it be gardening or roaming a beach. An avid animal lover, Fran would nurture to health any stray or wounded animal her children brought home. Fran was an accomplished artist and seamstress who loved painting, ceramics and sewing. She was a diehard Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox fan. Above all, Fran enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara and Diane.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her four children, Dianne (Bill), Michelle, Linda (Bill), Jeff (Gina); five grandchildren, Dan (Sarah), Lauren, Christina (Judy), Nick, Emily and her newly arrived great grandson Theo; two brothers Bill (Gloria), John (Elizabeth) and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may attend calling hours from 4PM to 7PM on Wednesday July 24th at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main St. North Syracuse. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Association of CNY.
