Loretta E. Lesko, 88, passed away on Thursday at Iroquois Nursing Home. Loretta was born and raised in Albany, NY, the daughter of the late Adolf and Mary Griessel. She was a kind, compassionate & caring person with a great sense of humor. She was an avid reader & loved to bake. She was a birdwatcher and her favorite were hummingbirds. Most of all, she loved being surrounded by her family.
Loretta is survived by her husband, William, children, Karen Fischer, Steven Lesko, Maureen (Peter) Seguin, Michael (Karen) Lesko, grandchildren, Jason Lesko, Jennifer Fischer, Jessica Fischer, Michelle Phinney, Allison Salisbury, Sullivan Lesko, Gabriel Lesko, great grandchildren, Diana, Kyra, and Dominick.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church. Entombment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to
St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry or to the Food Bank of CNY.
