Hugh F. Crinnin, 74 of Clay passed away unexpectedly on August 8th, 2019. Born on September 13, 1944 in Syracuse to the late Frank and Gladys Crinnin.
He graduated from Ithaca College with a Master’s Degree in Physicial Education. He worked for 37 years in the Syracuse City School District and was a former EMT. Hugh was an avid golfer and at one time won the city handball championship. Hugh's purpose in life was to take care of his family, whom he cherished.
He is survived by his wife Amy of 50 years; son Bret (Tina) Crinnin; grandchildren, Casey and Colin Crinnin; niece, Keira Schaff and nephew, Paul (Lori) Schaff; great-nieces, Abbey and Maggie Schaff and great-nephew, Stafa Schaff.
Hugh was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Katie Greene.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, on Saturday, August 17th from 4-7pm. Services will remain private.
