Dee died peacefully at the Francis House on Friday, August 16, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on December 2, 1941 in Syracuse.

Dee is survived by her children Lisa (Mark) Simpson and Jim Scarborough, as well as her sisters Sharon Bowman and Frances Ann Fritzen. She had several grandchildren who she loved to pieces.

She was a proud owner of Dee’s Tavern in Mapleview, NY where she was blessed to meet many of her friends. Dee loved working for the US Postal Service and meet many amazing people at work as well as on her route.

Friends are invited to celebrate her life on Wednesday, August 21 at New Comers on 705 N. Main St Syracuse 13212 from 5-7 pm, shortly after 7 pm, we will say a prayer in memory of Dee.
