Michael G. McGraw was born on May 9th, 1959 in Syracuse, NY. He passed away after a long battle with dementia and diabetes on Monday, August 26th, 2019.
He is survived by his wife, Marian; two daughters, Brenna and Katie; two brothers, Philip and Jeremy; one nephew and one niece, Scott and Giselle.
Michael was an angler who loved to tie flies. He was also an avid reader; a bibliophile. He especially loved books about fly tying, historical fiction, and fantasy. His favorite works were from J.R.R. Tolkien. Michael will be remembered for his quick wit, irreverent doodles, grilling prowess, and his love of the outdoors.
Visitation will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse on Sunday, Sept. 8th between 2-4pm.
