Robert E. "Bob" Beard, 90 of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Upstate Hospital. Born on March 10, 1929 in Syracuse to the late Edwin and Edna Beard.

He worked for General Electric as an engineer for many years. He proudly served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bob loved hunting, fishing, photography and cooking.

He is survived by his twin daughters, Sharon (Ron) Rorer and Susan (Marty) Kupelian; grandchildren, Renee Rorer, Brian (Aubrie) Rorer, Kevin (Mequela) Kupelian and Timothy Kupelian; great-grandchild, Aurora Kupelian; sisters, Kathleen Beard, Mary Margaret Vanamerongen, Jean Stuenzi and Ruth Reynolds and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse on Saturday, September 14th from 10am-12pm. Funeral Service will follow at 12pm. Burial will take place at Valley Cemetery, Nedrow.
