Helen L. Smith, 89, formerly of Liverpool and most recently of Baldwinsville, passed away on October 6th. Helen loved her dogs, camping, baking, quilting and most of all, spending time with her family.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Harry R. Smith, Sr; her son, Harry R. Smith, Jr. and several grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children, Betty LaCelle, Linda (George) Millet, Richard B. (Cindy) Smith and Raymond (Kathleen) Smith; daughter-in-law, Nancy Smith; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 10am-noon at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow. Burial will take place in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Helping Hounds or to the CNYSPCA.
