Leroy McPherson, 89, of Liverpool, passed away with family by his side after a lengthy illness Friday November 1, 2019 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Leroy was born on September 23, 1930 the son of the late Archie and Estell McPherson. He was predeceased by his wife Mary McPherson in 2001.

A retired production worker from General Motors, Leroy raised his family in Medina, New York. He was an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast. After the passing of his beloved wife, Mary, in 2001 Leroy moved to Liverpool, New York to be close to his children and grandchildren.

Leroy is survived by his sons, Daryl L. McPherson, Calvin (Eloise) McPherson, daughter, Cynthia (Patrick) Stanley, grandchildren, Carlton, Serena, Ashley, Jasmine, Nicholas, Patrick Jr., LeAnne, great grandchild, Autumn, sister, Editha (Amos) Barnes, brothers, George (Martha) McPherson, Ervin (Mary) McPherson, Will (Carolyn) McPherson, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Louise Riley, brother Hermon McPherson, sister Carroll Champine, and daughter-in-law, Pamela McPherson.

Calling hour will be held on Friday Nov. 8th from 1-2pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 2pm. Private burial will take place at Boxwood Cemetery, Medina New York.
