She was born in Syracuse, on March 4, 1946, daughter of the late Harlowe and Isabelle Ross.
Sue enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog Teddy. Sue was employed at Wesley Federal Credit Union and also worked in Retail, including Walmart.
Susan is survived by her sister, Beryl (Robert) Gustke; nephews; John (Anne) Gustke and David Gustke; great nieces; Grace, Eleanor, and Olivya; great nephews; Steven, Robert and Ryan.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Murphy and her niece, Robyn Tobin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse, with services at 6pm. Burial will be private at Woodlawn Cemetery.
