So sorry to just hear about this. Dave and I have been friends since the 7th grade when my family moved to Onondaga Hill. Dave always had a smile and a positive attitude to go along with it and you always knew there would be fun ahead. I played sports with him and against him and he always was of good character and fair play and a great athlete. Everyone loved Dave as much as I did. I’m sorry Ashley and for the rest of his family and huge circle of friends that knew him. Only a few clouds away my friend. I’ll miss our lunches.

Ashley and family: Kitty and I were neighbors to Mary Pallone Healy for several years and met Dave and Cathy through her. They were both very nice people. We are so sorry to hear that your father has passed away. We are keeping him, Cathy, and all of the family in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. Our condolences. Sincerely,
John Brown & Kitty Vincent

I was so sad to hear about Dave's passing. He was a great guy, always a smile, always happy, and always so caring! We first met at Carrier many years ago, but I ran into him often. I will miss him and his smile.

I can still see Dave in his brown and white dribbling the ball to the basket. There was always something about Dave that few of us share. You wanted to be with him. You felt good when you were. Always a smile, always acceptance. About his condition he told me "those are the cards you are dealt" and he didn't moan or whine about it. He was one of the good guys and everyone in our class of '63 will always think of him as such. Rest in peace, Dave.

My deepest condolences to his family.
Dave was a great guy. He mentored my assimilation into RCG (Carrier) supervision.
Even after I left Carrier he would stop by my house and "bust my chops" as he and Cathy owned a rental one block away.
Always smiling and laughing. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss! Although I only knew your dad for a short time it was an honor and a privilege to have known him at all! Smart, funny, kind, and a little sassy, but that’s what we loved about him! He will truly be missed at Parkrose and my thoughts and prayers go out to all his loved ones

Bogie and I worked together as foreman at Carrier for many years. In many respects he was like a big brother to me. Quick with a joke to lighten the mood and had a heart of gold. He worked at the Scotch & Sirloin as a waiter for awhile and I fell victim to one of his practical jokes while I was having dinner there. I will miss my old co-worker.
Although I never met you kids he always spoke very highly of you. Blessings to all of you through this time.
