Peter was an encyopedia of British motorcycles. A guy you could always count on if you needed a favor.
I wonder what he is riding at that flat track in Heaven? I'm thinking a 750 Norton in a Swanson/Eischen frame.

Dear Peter I met you through your loving wife and my dearest friend Louise over ten years ago. Quick witted and full of life, I was drawn in by your numerous stories of your childhood and beyond. Im sure Louise heard them many times before, but she listened like she never had and would laugh as hard as I did. You were always so quick to lend a hand to me and never seemed like it was a bother. Truly I wished a love like yours and hers for it seemed never ending. Louise is a very special person as you know and though Im not sharing this day with her she is surrounded by many loving family members and friends. I will be besties with her for the rest of my life and will share any memories she has of you. Her love for you made you a better person and you shared that love with many others. Rest in peace Peter. You lived well. Charlene

My heart felt condolences to Louise and Jeremy and all his family.
I first ran into Pete with T- Rider members around 45 years ago and will miss him,
though I didn't see him often he was always a hoot. I think he was proud of being so, as well he should of been.

I first met Pete in the electric shop as apprentices. He was always fun to listen to. Sorry to hear he's gone .

Pete was a first year member of British Motorcycle Club of Central New York although I had heard of his reputation with motorcycles years before I met him. I admired his knowledge of motorcycles and his creativity. Pete was instrumental and inspirational in the start of my current Project motorcycle, helping me fit a Triumph engine in a Wards Mojave chassis. I wish he could have seen it finished. My condolences to Louise, Jeremy and the rest of his family.

I just want to extend my sympathies again as the hospice chaplain who came late evening to say prayers with all of you. I hope his memory brings some joy to you even in this time of grief at his passing. Blessings and strength to you all.

It’s been about 40 years since I first met Pete. In the years since we have become fast friends. I’ve always admired his willingness to try anything when it came to bike building. He could definitely think outside the box. His passing leaves a huge hole in the local vintage bike community and an even bigger hole in the hearts of his longtime friends for which I am proud to say I am one.

I honestly don't know where to start. In a conversation I had with Peter some months ago, he commented that "we are a dying breed". I trust that those who have devoted their lives to machining and mechanics and the resurrection of vintage machinery will understand exactly what he meant. Peter was my "goto guy" for engine work on my BSA motorcycles for around twenty years, but our relationship was so much more than a mechanic-client relationship; every project was a collaborative effort and an educational experience, and it is largely to Peter's credit that I'm still riding a fifty-year-old motorcycle. And whenever we got together, we would so enjoy sharing stories and memories of a lifetime of motorcycle riding, and building, and racing... And now I don't know where to end either, except to offer my deepest condolences to Louise and Jeremy and all of Peter's family.

I never had a chance to meet Peter but I have to think we would have had some things in common. He loved motorcycles as I do and he loved you, which is such a blessing. You has 23 years together which is never enough but seems to have been a good start. Keep his memory in your heart and hold tight to those you love!

Peter, Danny Brown and myself used to ride in the dirt at my parents property. He was always helping Dan with his Flat Track racing bikes. Just a class individual who was always there with his knowledge and expertise in motorcycles. Lost contact after moving, my heartfelt sympathy and condolences to his family. Pete was one of a kind.
