Mitchell was born in Syracuse, on December 14, 1966 to the late Edward and Shirley Montgomery. He was a dog lover, enjoyed sporting events, dining at new restaurants, and having a good laugh with family and friends. Most importantly he cherished spending time and making memories with his loved ones and daughter. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Theresa Montgomery.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Karen Montgomery; daughter, Molly Montgomery; three brothers, Michael (Lisa) Montgomery, Matthew (Josephine) Montgomery, and Mark (Mary) Montgomery; a sister, Martha (Cornelius) O'Leary; and several nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, December 10, from 10am-1pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main, North Syracuse, NY 13212 with a service and interment to follow.
