Randy A. Cushman, 62, of Liverpool and formerly of Williamstown, passed away peacefully.

Randy graduated from Cicero High School in 1975 and then attended MVCC and earned a degree in advertising. He spent 32 years with the USPS working for the man. In his free time, he was a prolific song writer and musician. He spent many hours as DJ Randy of Billytown Sound.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Cathy; their children, Natalie (Tyler) Curran and Alexander Cushman; three grandchildren, Rhys, Rhiannon, and Grady; his siblings, Gerald Cushman, Jr., Steven (Rosie) Cushman, and Cynthia (Denny) Giantomasi; and many nieces and nephews.

Randy was predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Nancy Cushman.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a sharing of memories at 6:00 PM.

In Randy’s honor, contributions may be made to the Phoenix Public Library.

Randy viewed his life through rose colored glasses, and in the end, he sold his soul to rock and roll.
