Allen G. Hutchins, 90, formerly of Syracuse, NY, and most recently of Gloversville, NY, passed away on January 1st. He was born in Pompey, NY to the late George and Harriett Hutchins.

Allen served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for State Equipment for over 20 years.

Allen enjoyed building model airplanes and bowling.

He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth Hutchins in 2002, 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Allen is survived by his son, Robert Hutchins of Freeville, NY; daughter, Barbara Ann Butkins of Las Vegas, NV; 5 granddaughters; 2 great-granddaughters; sister, Anita Dougherty of Nedrow, NY; sister-in-law, Janice L. Vose of Gloversville, NY and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th, from 11am-noon, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, with a service to follow at noon. Burial will follow in Manlius Village Cemetery.
