Born on December 14, 1930 to the late William and Eva Freund.
He retired from Crucible Steel in 1992. He was a lifetime member of the Pastime Athletic Club. He also was an avid SU and NY Yankee fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret; children, Gretchen (Dan) Kelly, Stephen Freund and Thomas (Rosie) Freund; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his grandson, Brian; daughter-in-law, Linda and 4 siblings.
Family and friends may call at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse on Thursday, January 9th from 10am-12noon. Funeral Service will follow at 12noon.
Interment will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pastime Athletic Club and SPCA of CNY.
