Beverly B. Moviel, 97, of East Syracuse, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020, at the Cottages at Garden Grove.

She was born on March 1, 1922 in Bath, NY, where she was raised in the Davenport Home. At the age of 18 she became a hairdresser, eventually moving to Syracuse and working for Western Union Telegraph Company.

Retiring in Fort Meyers, FL she was a member of the VFW, and enjoyed going there on Friday nights for music, dinner and dancing.

Beverly moved back to Syracuse in 2008 to be with family and friends.

She is survived by her son Gary Parker; 3 grandchildren, Tanya, Jessica (Chris) Wimmer, and Gary, Jr, along with several great grandchildren; Alisia, Tyler, Andi, Anthony & Boston.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 20th, from 4 to 6pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Tuesday, at 10 am, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
