John was predeceased by his parents, William and Repolia Burrell; brothers, Moses, Charles, Cornelius and Willie Burrell; sister, Ann Margaret.
He is survived by his son, John L. Burrell, Jr.; sisters, Ann (Leonard) Williams and Bernice Thomas; brother, Darrell Burrell; sister-in-law, Yvonne Reid; grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 18th 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 12pm. Burial will follow in Loomis Hill Cemetery.
