Mark R. Defio, 40, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday. He was born in Syracuse son of Frank and Karen Mazzuca. Mark was an outgoing individual. He was always willing to help others in their time of need. Family was very important to him and Mark cherished his wife Rachel and his four daughters. Mark enjoyed working out and bodybuilding.

Surviving are his loving wife, Rachel Defio, his four daughters; Kenadi Defio of Pennsylvania, Aryanna, Brianna & Gianna, all of Liverpool, parents, Frank & Karen, maternal grandmother, Rena Szczepaniak, of Florida, his siblings; Jennifer Defio, Brandie (Dan) Murphy, Chelaine Chenevert, Darcie Chenevert & Paul Chenevert, all of Liverpool, along with several, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his brother, John Mazzuca.
