The angels have called Josephine A. Petrusch, 84, of Syracuse on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Crouse Hospital.

Josephine was born on October 27, 1935, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Demore.

She worked at Learburys, and owned B & L Warehouse and the Lakeside Family Restaurant with her husband, Bill.

Josie loved animals & enjoyed traveling.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband, William; her son, Steven; brother, Lawrence Demore; and son-in-law, Lawrence Gebman.

Josephine is survived by her son, William (Melissa) Petrusch, III; daughters, Mary Gebman and Debra Persse; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Due to the circumstances of COVID-19, services will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA.
