Gerald was born in Syracuse on November 29, 1950 to Lawrence and Barbara Widmann. Gerald was a truck driver and worked for many years for JB Hunt. In his free time, he enjoyed riding horses, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He also enjoyed karate and listening to classic rock very loudly. Gerald was known for making others laugh with a good bar story.
He was predeceased by his wife, Anne Hammond-Widmann.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Widmann; step-mother, Norma Widmann; 4 sisters; 3 brothers and 3 grandchildren, Bryton, Baylee and Maeve.
