Beverly C. Furlong, 85, of Syracuse, passed away June 14, 2020.

She was born October 20, 1934 in Syracuse, NY to the late Paul and Marjorie Furlong Sr. She worked at Syracuse City School District for over 45 years. She was a volunteer at the Rape Crisis Center for many years. She enjoyed decorating for holidays and loved cats.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother in law, Ron Hinman.

She is survived by her daughter Dawn (Marty) Staple; brother, Paul (Peggy) Furlong Jr; sisters, Bonnie Hinman, and Sheila (Louie) Sackett; grandchildren, Hillary Staple, Cody (Amber) Staple, and Dylan Staple; great grandchildren, Bryson, and Baby Staple; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of donations, we ask that you partake in any of the following; wear your gaudiest piece of jewelry, send a card to someone you love, feed a stray cat, rearrange the furniture, choose the red lipstick, have a Manhattan, and strut your stuff.
