Linda Derr (Franklin) sadly passed away on September 7, 2020 surrounded by family at St Joseph’s Hospital. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Dennis Derr; her beloved children Jon Rezzonico of Monument, CO and Michael Derr of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Justin Rezzonico, of Littleton, CO, Melody Rezzonico of Laramie, WY and Connor Rezzonico of Cheyenne, WY, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Linda was born in Auburn, NY to James and Dorothy Franklin on March 5, 1943. She attended Auburn High School and went to college in Virginia. Linda was a passionate animal lover, she trained and showed horses for many years. She was employed at Paper Conversions Inc. in North Syracuse.

She loved her children and family and was the happiest being around family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events over the years. Linda will be missed dearly by her family as well as Yorkshire Terrier companion, Toby.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours which will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212, on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 11 am - 12 pm, with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or Alzheimer's Association.
