Laurie Perez, 63, of Camillus, passed away September 25, 2020. Laurie was born in Syracuse, New York on August 28, 1957 to the late James Kopack and Beverly Douglas.

She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Hector Perez; step-father, Albert Marshall; brother, Jimmy Kopack; and two sisters, Robin Eckert, and Kathy VanSlyke/ She is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Karl) Hills, and Julie (Jazz Jackson) Gonzalez; two sons, Michael (Ashley Moses) Perez, and Jesse (Felicia Precourt) Perez; step-daughter, Lisa Coates; step-son, Gregory Perez; brothers, John, Jimmy, and Jesse; step-mother, Viola Marshall; sisters, Angel, Debbie, Cathy, and Kelly; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her best friend, Bernice Caruso; and several nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm with a service to follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse.
