William E. Cartner, Jr. 64 of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2020. He was born on March 10, 1956 to the late Raymond Beach and the late Pearl Wright.

He was a wonderful husband, family man and friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends, fishing, riding his motorcycle and collecting motorcycle and pepsi memorabilia. He made friendships and created bonds everywhere he went. To all of his long time friends he was known as "PEPSI" for his love of the soda but in the motorcycle community he was known as "TIPSY". He's been an active memeber of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club since 2010 and loved riding with all of his brothers and sisters of the club and community.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri, and their children, William E. Cartner, III, Anthony R. Cartner and Paul R. Cartner; 7 grandsons; 1 grandaughter; siblings, Betty Spencer, Russell Evans, Edward Evans and Irene (James) Wilson.

He was predeceased by his brother, Paul Evans and sister, Cindy Evans.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, October 2, 2020 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse from 4-7 pm.
