Rosemary A. Gurniak, 73, of Liverpool, passed away September 29, 2020. Rosemary was born in Syracuse, New York on July 11, 1947 to the late John and Minerva Gurniak.

She worked at Leihs & Steigerwald Meat Market for many years and later retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Sister, Sandra Hewitt.

She is survived by her Three Daughters, Melissa (Dave Stoquert) Hewitt, Christy (Joe DiStaola) Gurniak, Carol (Kyle) Maloid; Brother, John (Marlene) Gurniak; Sister, Shirley (Gene) LaCour; Seven Grandchildren, Kacie (Nicholas) Robson, Christopher Maloid, Autumn Brown, Jordan Brown, Mersadies Hewitt, Ariana Hewitt, Selena Cruz; Five Great Grandchildren, Aiden Robson, Isabella Maloid, Olivia Maloid, Brooklynne Huddleston, Jacob LaValley; Ex-Husband, Al Hewitt.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, 3-7 PM, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will be held on Monday, 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
