Ronald R. Gilmour, 78, of Syracuse, passed away at Upstate University Hospital on October 8, 2020. Ron was born in North Rose, New York on June 23, 1942 to the late Raymond and Mabel Gilmour.

Ron was the owner and proprietor of Eastwood Barber Shop until his health declined. He loved his clientele and appreciated their loyalty over his 55-year career. He enjoyed all sports and competed in his younger years what would later be known as BMX.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary G. Gilmour; Step-Daughter, Christine Ward; Step Son-in-law, Fred Laning and Nephew, Michael Cady.

He is survived by his Daughter, Allison L. (Lorne) Ernst; Sister, Patricia Simpson; Step-Son, James Parry; Step-Daughter, Karen Laning; Grandchildren, Katie, Mary Kate, Chelsea, Nathan; Great Granddaughter, Delilah and Step Son-In-law, Jim Ward.

A celebration of life will be planned in the spring.
