She was born on September 14, 1930 in Oswego, NY to the late Hugh and Catherine McClelland.
She was a member of The Lay Carmelite Order of Our Lady of Moulnt Carmel. She had a love for her church, St. Rose of Lima and a zest for life.
She is survived by her children, Christine (Martin) Wallace, Richard (Deborah) Smith and Catherine Smith; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Richard S. Smith in 2014 and son, David M. Smith in 2014.
Family and friends may call at New Comer Cremations & Funeral, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse on Sunday, October 18 from 4-7pm. Funeral Service will follow at 7pm. Interment will be private.
A special thank you to her niece, Jill McDonough who traveled the Holy Lands and faithfully called her everyday at 8:45am.
