Anne P. Herie, 89, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Syracuse, NY. Ms. Herie, who lived at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitaion and Nursing, was a lifelong resident of Syracuse. She was born on November 13, 1930 in Syracuse, daughter of the late George and Edith Herie, who she loved dearly.
Anne spent many of her working years as a telephone operator for Onondaga County and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
She is survived by three of her children, Deborah Trepanier and husband, Michael of Biloxi, MS, Richard McPhee and wife, Sonal of Suffolk, VA, and George McPhee of Norfolk, VA. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Michelle Miller and husband, Richard of Biloxi MS, and Mike Trepanier of Biloxi MS, Ryan McPhee of Queens, NY; Justin McPhee of Richmond, VA and Dylan McPhee of Suffolk, VA. She is predeceased by her son, Mark of Syracuse.
Anne will be buried at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dewitt, NY alongside her mother and father in the beautiful shrine garden.
