Josephine is survived by her loving children, Richard (Gladys) Kehrer and Kristen (James Wolf) Kehrer; grandchildren, Wendy (Randy) McJunkins, John Kehrer, Chad (Kim) Lingerfelt, Edward Kehrer, Heather (Jason) Breeden, and Justin Wolf; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and her brother, Richard (Sandy) Nickles.
Josephine enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, ceramics and baking for her family and neighbors. She was an active member of the Parma Baptist Church for many years. Josephine was an amazing homemaker that took pride in taking care of her children and her home. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially when they visited for the summer. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 3 pm to 4 pm with a funeral service to follow at 4 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main Street, N. Syracuse. Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
