Shannon M. Phillips Lynn, 48, of Liverpool NY, formerly of Baldwinsville, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the home of her sister, Eveline, after a long battle with cancer.

Born in Syracuse, NY on December 18, 1971, she was the daughter of Donald and Naomi (Latz) Phillips. Shannon was a member of the Oneida Nation of the Thames and was a homemaker for the past 14 years. She took great pleasure in watching the Baldwinsville Christmas parades and fireworks. Shannon loved her plants and gardening; her favorite was the sunflower. Her true passion was baking cookies and desserts; her famous Christmas trays will be missed by many.

Shannon was predeceased by her husband, Kelly "Chester" Lynn; and her brother, Bruce Phillips.

Shannon is survived by her parents, Donald and Naomi (Latz) Phillips; siblings, Don (Charlene Richardson) Phillips, Eveline (Andrew) Olson and Scott Phillips.

Shannon leaves behind her children, Shawn Francis Lynn (Ashley Weaver) and Kelly Marie Lynn; grandchildren, Shauna, Joshua, Alyssa and Gage Lynn; whom she loved so very much.

She also leaves behind her nephews, Nathan, Seth, Alex; and her niece Taylor; along with Uncles, Aunts, and a multitude of cousins.

The family would like to acknowledge our Hospice aide, Sherry Golden, for the wonderful care and laughter that she shared with Shannon. Her presence was a gift during this difficult time.

Family and friends are invited to call from 12:00 to 4:00 on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the funeral home. Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to an education fund that is established for her daughter and can be mailed to Don Phillips, c/o Eveline Olson at 106 Iroquois Lane, Liverpool NY 13088.
