Doris Elaine Rheaume passed away peacefully on November 10th 2020 in her apartment at The Heritage in Syracuse, NY after a short battle with cancer.

Born Doris E. Lindquist on April 15, 1940 to Marinus and Flora (Playze) Lindquist in West Enfield, Maine, she was the youngest of twenty children to the couple. The family moved to Kennebunk, Maine in 1946.

She graduated from Kennebunk High School in 1958. She married David F. Rheaume in 1963, but later divorced. They had two sons, Benjamin and Darren.

Doris liked music, especially singing and playing the piano. A kind and compassionate person, her biggest joy was sharing time with others. She loved conversation, and always focused on those around her.

She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents and eighteen siblings.

She is survived by one sister, Emma J. Clark (David) of Henderson, NV, two sons, Benjamin D. Rheaume (Brenda) of Meriden, CT and Darren G. Rheaume (Jennifer) of Liverpool, NY, seven grandchildren, and a great number of nieces, nephews, and their families across the country.
