John was born in Syracuse, New York on March 6, 1935 to the late Howard and Adaline Baum.
A U.S. Air Force Veteran, Weldon retired from Penny Curtis Bakery. In his free time, he enjoyed farming, tending to his animals, hunting, fishing and working on cars. Most of all he loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his Sisters, Gloria, Alberta, Loretta and Brother, Alfred.
He is survived by his Wife of 60 years, Janet Baum; Daughters, Judith (Michael) Graham, Carol (Robert) Picard, Barbara Rao; Sons, Howard (Anne Dishaw) Baum, John Baum, Paul Baum, William (Tiffany) Baum; Sisters, Norma, Violet, Dawn, Edna; Brothers, Freddy and Neal; 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation and services will be private. He will be buried in North Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
