In Memory Of
Jerry Haynes
1941 - 2021

Jerry Haynes, 79, passed peacefully on January 5, 2021.

Jerry left behind the love of his life, Mary Haynes. They first met at Coyne Laundry where Jerry “chased” Mary around the laundry presses and into courtship. They celebrated 58 years of marriage filled with laughter and many memories.

Jerry retired from Chrysler after working there for 30 years. He had a passion for cars, old and new. He also enjoyed fishing, visiting with friends and family, spending the winter months in Florida, and visiting the Turning Stone Casino with his wife. Jerry was happy to meet and spend time with his brother, Thomas (Tammy) Giese after 75 years! Even though their time together was cut short, it was a blessing they were able to finally meet and share some time together.

Jerry will be dearly missed by his wife Mary Haynes of Cicero; his brother, Thomas (Tammy) Giese of Wisconsin; sister, Linda Fuller of Cortland; his nieces and nephews: Michael (Kristy) Buchalla, Steven Buchalla, Lisa Buchalla, Brenda Buchalla, Kathy (Paul) Larmon, Kimberly (Ron) Light, Cheryl (Matt) Barbeau, Lisa Farewell, Michele (Matt) Kendall, Jennifer (Terrence) Cheng, Jason (Christina) Cayea, Ryan DeWolfe.

Jerry was predeceased by his father, Raymond Haynes; mother, Catherine Haynes; and sister, Carol Buchalla.

Services will be private and there will be a spring burial.

Contributions can be made in Jerry’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
