Dean, sorry to hear about your Dad... Scott
~ Scott Secord - January 18, 2021
Quick witted, always good for a laugh, Uncle Al was one of the good ones. Always around to help out a friend. I know he and my Dad met at the gates and were trying to sneak a quick beer before Jean came to get him! He will be missed. Brent & Dean, so sorry for your loss.

AR is his name to those who gathered at Joan's Diner. He was everyone's friend, a gentleman in every sense of the word. I will miss his greetings and his warm friendship! Rest gently is the calm of Heaven's waters! Chief Z

To the family of Alan Reynolds: I met your Dad, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, at our usual meeting place Joan’s Diner. We had a lot in common “The Old Man” (his given name a the diner) and myself. From hunting, fishing, drinking beer, having coffee and teasing waitress’ at the diner, and finally, sharing our experiences in the US Navy. Many of the usual at the diner enjoyed our conversations and joking around. It was an everyday event, and was missed when one of us didn’t make it that morning. I will miss my friend very, very much and hope to see him again someday so we might continue our conversations. Rest In Peace Brother, until we meet again!! Chuck

Alan, many great memories, like helping me build my first cabin in the woods that's still up today almost 50 years later, let me ride your motorcycle and drive it without a license, wishing me good luck when I tried out with the New York Jets and Giants of the national football league as a place kicker, and handed me a $50 bill to make sure I had money for lunch, when I got down there, which was a lot of money in 1973, always cheering me on when I played football for Sauquoit valley, semi-pro for the Utica mid-state mustangs, helping me build my shed rows for my race horses with our dad, coming to Vernon Downs and watching me race my horses meant the world to me, and then the last time I saw you walking around your property drinking a beer, and have some great talks that day, until we meet again brother, may God bless you protect you, and I love you, your brother Roger

To those of the family who will read this, you know my relationship with Alan. I am thankful that we were able to have a civil and friendly relationship over the years for the boys. He always had a smile, loved his boys, had a remark for everything and people liked being with him. He will be missed at our Framily functions. I know he is enjoying the rewards of heaven.
